Off the Shelf Spanish for Beginners
AIM: to introduce staff to the pleasures and challenges
of language learning with a focus on getting more out of foreign holidays
OBJECTIVES: By the end of the course participants will:- have benefited
from taking part in a directed lunchtime activity- have learned and
practiced using basic phrases to get by on holiday- have worked together
to share a learning experience- have been inspired and motivated by
the idea of further development and training in languages and other
areas- have understood that their employer cares about their development
TARGET: Staff from all departments

Week 1: Me, me, me: talking about oneself
Week 2: Travelling made easy
Week 3: Getting the best room
Week 4: Ordering the killer meal
Week 5: Dealing with emergencies
Week 6: Getting around and meeting the locals
